SYNOPSIS

Luminus challenges a group of diabetics to climb the Stelvio mountain (Italy).  This jingle is a  “call to action” in which the audience is encouraged to share the Luminus FB-page, thus actually sharing bike-parts. Enough “shares”/”parts”  will complete an electric bicycle, offered to the diabetic-athletes in their conquest of the Stelvio mountain.

On june 14th 2014, 10 courageous pre-diabetics ascended the Stelvio mountain.

After following an intensive physical & nutritional programme for 6 months, climbing the Stelvio proved to be the ultimate biking challenge as well as a turning point in their life.  In this 2 minute mini-documentary, Luminus wanted to promote awareness for diabetes as the world’s next epidemic disease due to an unhealthy lifestyle.

Bottom line: A more active lifestyle and more balanced eating habits can help each and every one of us to stay ahead of diabetes.
