BASE Check & the City
SYNOPSIS
‘Check & The City’ is a reality game that coincided with the launch of BASE Check, a prepaid plan designed for young costumers with smart phones. Its USP is an exclusive app to get more out of your city, with hot tips and hot deals.
BASE asked us to create fun and entertaining 2-minute content to demonstrate the app’s ease of use. The result was a city swap in which 3 friends from Brussels have to find their way in Ghent and vice versa. The two teams have to accomplish several missions against time. Their only help is the BASE Check app on their smart phones. ‘Check & The City’ was aired for 3 weeks (with a new episode every week) in primetime on VTM; Flanders’ number one commercial TV station.
‘Check & The City’ was awarded as best and most impactful non-classical commercial at the 2012 TV Awards.
